Privacy Policy

Effective July 11, 2026

The short version

DarkPaper collects no data. There are no accounts, no analytics, no ads, no tracking, and no third-party SDKs that collect anything. Everything the app does happens on your device.

Your documents

PDFs you open in DarkPaper are copied into the app's private storage on your device and processed entirely on-device. They are never uploaded or shared with anyone — the only way a document leaves the app is when you explicitly export it through the iOS share sheet.

Purchases

The optional lifetime unlock is a standard Apple in-app purchase. Payment is handled by Apple; DarkPaper never sees your name, email, or payment details. Your purchase is tied to your Apple ID through the App Store, which is also how Restore purchase works on a new device.

Network access

DarkPaper's own code makes no network requests. The only network activity related to the app is Apple's own App Store communication for in-app purchases, performed by iOS.

Children

DarkPaper does not collect personal information from anyone, including children.
